Theft of Generator

Sometime between February 1st, 2021 and May 9th, 2021 a generator, welding machine and tools were stolen from the Friendship Farm on Route 100. The farm is located between Whitbourne and Placentia, 8km from the TCH.

Mischief in Southern Harbour

Sometime between May 23rd and May 25th a home on Centennial Hill in Southern Harbour was vandalized.

The front window and door of the unoccupied residence were smashed.

Property Damage

On May 9th, 2021 The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary received a report of boats that were untied or cut from the dock and sunk. There was extensive damage to the boats and the vessels were found submerged. This occurred in vicinity of Stage Head Rd, Conception Bay South Newfoundland and Labrador.

Police Need Your Help to Locate Vehicle

On May 23rd at 2:12PM, a Black GMC Sierra was involved in a hit and run at the Sobey’s parking lot in Clarenville.

The driver of the truck backed into a grey Mazda 3 sedan and then left the scene without leaving their information. The pick-up truck had a Newfoundland licence plate and may have damage to the rear bumper as a result of the collision.

Can You Identify This Person?

On May 4th, just after 7:00 pm, the suspect pictured here took a quantity of liquor from Needs Convenience at 360 Harvey St, Harbour Grace.

Video surveillance showed the suspect take 2-4 packs of Smirnoff vodka coolers from the shelf, conceal the coolers in his jacket and then left without paying. The suspect wore khaki pants, a black coat and a black Puma ball cap.

Suspected Arson

On May 18th at approximately 10:49 PM, an anonymous person called 911 to report a travel trailer was on fire near Sandy Harbour River on Route 210 (Burin Peninsula Highway).

Terrenceville Fire Department attended and advised that the trailer was fully engulfed upon their arrival. The fire was extinguished, but the trailer was completely destroyed.

It appears that the trailer was broken into and a 2500 W Honda Generator, as well as other items were stolen before the fire started.

Break, Enter and Theft in Port Blanford

Sometime between April 9th and April 12th, a break, enter and theft occurred at a residence on Legion Rd in Port Blandford.

There were signs of forced entry and the doors to the house, garage and shed were damaged. Many items were stolen including a social Insurance card, cash, photos, a cedar jewelry box, jewelry and numerous tools.

Some of stolen items include:

– 3300 lb hydraulic floor jack
– 3 tool kits and tools
– 1/4 and 1/2 inch socket sets
– 1 drill kit and bits
– 3 Jonsered chainsaws
– 1/2″ Black and Decker drill
– 1/2″ Mastercraft impact gun (electric)
– 4 1/4″ Mastercraft electric grinder
– Dewalt reciprocating saw and battery
– 1/2″ drill and driver with battery
– Skil saw and battery
– 4 1/2″ grinder with battery
– Sanyo radio/CD player
– sterling silver necklace with arrow
– charm bracelet (s/s) with charms; “Shannon”, wedding date, bike, sewing machine
– daughter’s pride ring with red stone
– pocket watch (octagon shape)
– ankle bracelet- ring with a square green stone
– necklace with “I’ll always be your little girl”
– tie clip- cuff links-gold ring with initial “L” on it and a topaz stone

Sometime between March 22nd and March 24th, a residential break and enter occurred on Station Road in Adams Cove.

The front door had been pushed in causing damage to the frame and a window had been broken. Among the items taken were a 16 inch gold chain with a horn pendant and a 10k gold ring with a green birthstone. These items belonged to a deceased family member who passed away 10 years ago and the sentimental value far outweighs the monitory value. The victim of this crime would be grateful to have these items returned.

Break and Enter at 50 Plus Club

Sometime between March 11th and March 13th, a break and enter occurred at the 50 Plus Club in Sunnyside.

The suspect(s) damaged the rear deck, removing a piece of railing and then used it to break a window. 8 pairs of snowshoes and a lawn mower were stolen.

On February 25th, at approximately 12:15 PM, a theft occurred at Canadian Tire in Clarenville. Video surveillance captured a female removing an item from it’s packaging and placed it in her pocket. She then paid for other items but left the store without paying for the item in her pocket. The suspect is thin with brown/auburn hair, wore dark rimmed glasses, an Adidas hoodie, blue jeans and dark sneakers with darker laces and white soles. She was also wearing non-medical mask with a pattern.
